What do you see? Is the glass half empty or half full. There are many times in your business career where you will see your business concept, service or idea as something that is worth pursing and at other times, something that is not worth the effort. As an entrepreneur it is often the case that you will have to go down the road less travelled, which could lead to frustrations, uncertainty and financial sacrifice.

However the way that you will succeed is to surround yourself with people and things that reinforce your positive mind set and keep you moving in the right direction towards growth and business success.

The dog is not recognized first because we have no visual clues as to what we are looking for.

Once you’re told it was a dog, your brain would then begin to first identifying its parts (feet, ears, nose, tail, etc.).

The way in which in we attain awareness or understand of our sensory information is through the process of perception. In business we often have to make judgments based on what we see, even though what we see may not be the true picture. Most people have a perceptual set, where they make judgments based on previous experience or frequency.

In order to be successful you have to be able to use all your senses and not just the ones that you read with.
