I’ve been been mentoring someone for a few months now. They have all the traits of an entrepreneur and will no doubt succeed in business.

One thing they lack however is the knowledge of experience. They are very reactive and can sometimes take criticism personally.

One thing I have learned and this has come with time, is that you can not buy or fast track experience. Enthusisam in business is a great asset to have and can get a project started.

However in order to succeed, I would advise taking a moment to think about how you react to situations in your business before making any huge decisions that may impact on your business.

You have to be able to question, listen and understand what your clients are looking for, otherwise as Bruce Lee says:

“It is like a finger pointing away to the moon, do not concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all the heavenly glory.”
