Have a look at your sales letter or proposal that you’re writing. If you notice that there seems to be lack of the words “You” “We” & “Our” then you may want to revise your proposal. Why? Well, from the clients perspective the most important person and business is them. The reason why the words “You” “We” & “Our” are so important is because they show a collective perspective on what you’re discussing and a focus on your client or customer.
When communicating in business both with your off and online content, it’s key to understand how to get attention. Listed below are some of the key ways of doing just that.

Headline. The first part of the AIDA formula, “Attention,” is probably the most important on the Internet. Crafting a headline that immediately captures the customers attention is critical. You can find more information on attention and the Attention Economy here.

Grabbers. Several elements can increase your copy’s attention factor, particularly with your headline. One is to use “qualifiers,” such as subheadlines (They can also called “preheads” and “subheads”) to emphasize the key benefits expressed in the headline.

Openers. These are listed into three groups of “three’s”. I have listed them below for you.

Human GOALS

From your the headline to the opening copy of the letter, one very effective way to capture attention is to focus on three core goals, which are to to either save or make:

Time

Money

Energy

Human DESIRES

Greed

Lust

Comfort

Human TEASERS

Curiosity

Controversy

Scarcity

If you can help people achieve their goals, whilst creating desire, by offering teasers, you and your business will continue to grow and become a success.
