Having recently laucnhed a new retail venture Thinkbigbebig Clothing I was happy that the project had eventually gone live.

What I didn’t however count on was the frustration and headache I encountered having not documented everything with regards to the models, suppliers etc. Business basics I here you say. Yes I would agree.

The lesson learnt was very clear. If friends or colleagues say that they’ll do something for you. That is fine. However when it comes to business and things that may impact on your business, I would strongly suggest that you document everything you do so that you’re covered legally if anything should go wrong. In short, to quote my mother “Love many, trust few, but always paddle your own canoe”
