TWILIGHT, VAMPIRES AND BUSINESS

This weekend my girlfriend and I went to see the new Twilight movie. (I have to admit I am a fan) I think we were the only people older than twenty in the cinema.  Undeterred we enjoyed the film, what I enjoyed more was the lessons you could learn from the audience. The video below is a great example of how if done correctly you can create anticipation and desire in your customers and audience.

“Creating anticipation” is not a new phenomenon and is standard practice in the movie industry.  You have the teaser trailer, and now the use of social media to create anticipation and in some cases hysteria in your audience or customer as highlighted in the video above.  In short create buzz and anticipation and you will have customers wanting your product or service as much as  vampires crave blood.
