Tryvertising

 

Do you want more customers and clients that will continue to spend money with you?  I would hope that you answered yes.  The best way you can do this is by a new phenomenon called Tryvertising. Actually the phenomenon is not that new, clever companies and business owners have been using this method of new business acquisition as a breed of product placement for years.  

Go to any food market (I reccomend Borough Market, if you’re in London) and you will see owners offering free food samples. This is great because it provides immediate feedback, first impressions, point of purchase decision tracking, and above all the ability for your customer to engage with your brand.

Trenwatching back in 2007 described TRYSUMERS as transient, experienced consumers who are becoming more daring in how and what they consume, thanks to a wide range of societal and technological changes.  This I believe is still the case and even more important now in economic downtimes.  

Tryvertising allows you to engage with your audience, customers and clients by offering them value.  Am I saying give your products away?  Perhaps. I would suggest in small quantities at first.  Offer things that are at a low cost to you, however a high perceived value to your customers.
